Very much fiction, based on my mother's own shoe collection, which she also meticulously organizes.

Sorry, forgot to post this when I first got it back on Tuesday. Sickest thing in the world. Lovelovelove it.
And it's healing tons better now, but my arm was swollen up for about a day and a half which made me incredibly worried. Like, more than I already get when I'm an overanxious mess.

Looks SO COOL and vivid and sticks out on my arm like a sore thumb. Everyone I've shown it to (re: work, out and about) either thinks I am a complete idiot or brilliantly hilarious. I don't know which one I am more proud of.
Either way, I know that I am proud of deciding never to pick up a cigarette ever again.

Didn't really have enough time to finish this. However, these characters are just intoxicating. Had to write about them. Barely got this all done in time..
Apologies to anyone who didn't follow the McCain or Obama campaigns in '08 (seriously, were you living under a rock?) as I was a cloooose follower. As a result, this is going to be a tiny bit reliant on your political knowledge / how vehement you feel about these things. Still think it's a cute little love story, though.

Okay okay, this is a little short and a little stream of consciousness. Mostly, this is about writer's block, which I am positive is something that you can all identify with.
Also, I primarily did a lot of listening to "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" by Coldplay and "Sam's Town" by the Killers for this- two very creative, very influential yet popularly less-received than the album before. Yes, the Killers are from Las Vegas, and I drew a little bit from Brandon from this. But hey, what can you expect? My favorite band.

Seriously. This is one of the best songs I've heard in my entire life.
The entire album is amazing so far, this indie rock opera, and I'm determined to see them live as a result.
